GBUD asks colonies to clear DMC bills

GBs Union Dimapur (GBUD) has instructed colonies to clear bills levied by Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) for collecting waste/garbage.

In a press release, GBUD president, M Y Ngullie and general secretary, T Onen Jamir appreciated DMC for collecting dustbin/garbage from the entire urban area colonies with “minimum charges” for the service.

However, GBs Union Dimapur said it has learnt that many colonies have not cleared the bills and have kept it pending for more than a year, which has affected the smooth functioning of the service provided.

In this regard, GBUD has requested all colony GBs to take the initiative and immediately clear the bills.
