GHS Ngwalwa residential quarter of teacher ‘abandoned’

Ngwalwa village council has expressed dismay over the “abandoned” residential quarter meant for teacher of Government High School (GHS) Ngwalwa under Peren district.

In a press release, Ngwalwa village chairman, Kiepeube Zehuny said that the first instalment for the construction was received on May 20, 2020. Though the construction was “time bound” and was supposed to be completed within eight months, the chairman said the project has remained “unattended” this date.

Despite several appeals for second instalment, the chairman said the concerned authority has turned “deaf ear” to the plea which has interrupted the construction and brought it to a standstill.
