Gynae Institute of Virility and Fertility (GIVF), Kohima has been identified for treatment and hospitalisation of non-COVID patients referred from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), which has been designated as COVID hospital, and will be empanelled under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) for providing benefits to beneficiaries, principal secretary Home Abhijit Sinha informed.
GIVF is in addition to Oking Hospital, KP Bethesda Hospital, Putounuo Nursing Home and Bethel Medical Centre, all of which have already been empanelled under AB-PMJAY.
So far, CIHSR, Eden Medical Centre, Zion Hospital & Research Centre, Nikos Hospital & Research Centre and Nagaland Multispeciality Health & Research Centre (Dimapur), Lenjem Hospital (Mokokchung) and Polyclinic (Tuensang) have been empanelled, while arrangements have been made at Nyenching Government High School for delivering healthcare services by the health & family welfare department in Longleng. In rest of the districts where private hospitals exist, empanelment is under process.
