Government Middle School (GMS) Alempang, Mokokchung, on September 11, held a seminar on substance abuse under Nagaland Education Project The Light House (NECTAR), with medical officer UPHC, Yimyu, Dr. Redina Ao as resource person. A press release by the school stated that Dr. Ao dwelled on the ill effects on use of tobacco products, alcohol, drugs and other related intoxicants.
She also encouraged students to avoid bad companies in order to keep away from such bad habits. The release added that welcome address was delivered by head teacher, I. Tiamongla, while Yashila chaired the program.
