GMS Bayavü annual sports culminates

The annual Sports Meet of Government Middle School (GMS) Bayavü held from April 3-5 April at School Campus and Tsiesema Bawe ground in Kohima culminated.
A press release from the school informed that on the inaugural day (April 3) Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, Head teacher exhorted the students and shared on the importance of co-curricular activity such as Sports in education while Kecubole Kin, Physical education teacher administered the oath to the students.
It stated, the sports committee was led by Keneingusa Rüpreo, Rüguotsolie and Kecubole Kin.
The students were divided into Junior and Senior category into four houses namely, Blue, Red, Green and Yellow and competitions were held on Football (Men’s); Volleyball(women’s); Skipping; Tug of war; Sack race; Push-ups; Arm Wrestling; Thread & Needle; Face the cookies; Balloon burstings; Coin race; Musical Chairs; Spoon Race; Sweet bite; 100m race and 4x100m rally race were played.
On the closing day, the prize were distributed to the winners by Vithongunuo, assistant head teacher.
