Government Middle School, Leirie Chazou (Aradhura), Kohima celebrated Pre-Teachers’ Day 2024 on September 4 at the school premises.
Delivering the keynote address, Thejangulie Kirha, Head Teacher, highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day celebration and expressed gratitude to the teaching faculty for the constant love and support rendered throughout the year. He urged the teachers to rededicate themselves to the profession and work for the welfare and upliftment of the students as well as the school.
Vice chairman SMC, Megoviko Mor, in his speech lauded the teachers for their unwavering dedication, and motivated them to continue doing the same. He also urged the students to learn all the good things from their surroundings and reminded them that the things they learn today will determine their future.
Earlier, the Programme was chaired by Ningmo of Class-7, the program began with an invocation by Wangying of class-8 and Lolam of Class-7 delivered the speech on behalf of the students. Tonatoli of Class 3 recited an ode to teachers while Hamshen of Class-8 offered the benediction.
