
Government Middle School (GMS) K. Khel, Viswema conducted its annual literary and cultural day on October 27 with member secretary, Nagaland Pollution Control Board, (NPCB), Rusovil John, as special guest.
During the programme, Rusovil John elaborated on the need to know the importance of cultural celebrations and the need to maintain one’s identity. He also spoke on the need of having a clean and lovely environment.
Other highlights of the programme includes competitions like folktale writing, drawing traditional attires, cultural dance, tati, folk song and spell bee.
The programme was chaired by class 8 student, Wangshei Konyak; Nokerhenu Tsukru and Binita Karki of standard 4 and 2 pronounced the word of God and prayer; head teacher GMS K.Khel Viswema, Keneiseu Vitsu delivered welcome address while Kilamhungle of standard 7 delivered the vote of thanks.
