The 5th Combined Youth Fellowship of Gorkha Baptist Churches was held on August 24, hosted by Gorkha Baptist Church Viola. The event brought together five congregations—Gorkha Baptist Church Thahekhu, Dimapur Town Nepali Baptist Church Duncan, Nepali Baptist Church Walford, Nepali Baptist Church Kuda, and GBC Viola—for a day of worship, fellowship, and cultural celebration.
In a press release issued by DTNBC Duncan, Badal Gurung informed that the fellowship aimed to strengthen inter-church relationships, foster collaboration, and reflect a shared commitment to advancing the Kingdom of Christ through community service.
Youth pastor of NBC Kuda, Nito Sundas, delivered a message on “Living the Gospel”, emphasizing the importance of translating faith into action. The programme featured praise and worship led by GBC Viola, along with cultural performances and special numbers presented by youth members from DTNBC Duncan, NBC Kuda, NBC Walford, and GBC Thahekhu. A highlight of the event was the sharing of Bible verses, including Philippians 1:27, by Tolivi Pradhan of GBC Viola and Sanjeep of NBC Walford.
The programme was chaired by Sanjana Rai (DTNBC Duncan), with invocation by Sarah Gurung (DTNBC Duncan), welcome address by Rosy Gurung (Youth Secretary, GBC Viola), offertory prayer by Jona Thapa (GBC Viola), and benediction by Arti Mech (GBC Thahekhu).
