Gorkha Zaika inaugurated in Chümou Town

The highly anticipated Gorkha Zaika, The Taste of Gorkha was officially inaugurated on August 24, at Ward-2, Chümoukedima Town.
The event was graced by of Chümoukedima Village Nagamese Baptist Church, pastor Samuel Chettri, who inaugurated the food outlet with a blessing and words of encouragement. The ceremony was attended by well-wishers, friends, and local community members.
Gorkha Zaika is dedicated to bringing the authentic flavors of the Gorkha community closer to the people of Chümoukedima. The outlet will serve a wide array of traditional and modern Gorkha delicacies, including momo, thukpa, and several other signature dishes that are beloved within the community. The ceremony concluded with a fellowship gathering, where guests were treated to a sampling of Gorkha cuisine.
