A Gospel musical concert under the theme, “Sing to the Lord a new song, play skillfully & shout for joy” was organized by Sumi Baptist Church, Purana Bazar Christian Youth Fellowship, with Vihoshe Awomi (GB) and also the president of ACCC, Dimapur-III, as the resource person, on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Awomi exhorted the gathering about the present scenario prevailing in the state and expressed appreciation to the organizers for organizing such programme despite the uneasiness.
Awomi further urged the youths to recognize their responsibilities in contributing towards the welfare of the society so that peace, which is the need of the hour, prevail in the state through every individual’s contribution.
Earlier, Rev. Vitoi Kappo, pastor offered the invocation ,followed by special numbers, choreography and strings ensemble were some of the special highlights of the evening presented by different groups and later Mrs. Kanili(Women leader) pronounced the benediction.
