Nagaland governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y.Patton have extended greetings to the members of Chang community on the occasion of Poang Lüm.
In his message, Prof. Mukhi said Poang Lüm festival, which advocates unity, friendship and good trade relations, aims to pass down the rich culture and beautiful traditions to the younger generation.
Extending warm greetings to the Chang community, the chief minister prayed that the Almighty bless the community members with prosperity, peace and unity. He also wished all a blessed year.
Patton said that the festival is celebrated at the beginning of a new year with the purpose of having a blessed year ahead. He expressed hope that festival was celebrated with grandeur.
