Gov, CM, Dy CM greet on Sekrenyi

Nagaland governor RN Ravi and chief minister Neiphiu Rio have extended Sekrenyi greetings to the members of the Angami community and to the people of Nagaland.

In his message, Ravi said that festival like Sekrenyi has kept the unity of the people, be in the village or beyond, through centuries. He urged the Angami youth to comprehend and carry forward the underlying intellectual, spiritual and philosophical significance of Sekrenyi.

“On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all good health, peace and prosperity. God bless Nagaland!” governor stated.

CM: Extending greetings to the Angami community on the joyous occasion of Sekrenyi, the chief minister prayed that the festival not only be a reminder of “our rich culture and tradition but also revive positive values, practices and strengthen the spirit of peace and unity.” 

Dy. CM: Extending Sekrenyi greetings to the Angami community, the sate deputy chief minister Y Patton said that festival was a time to strengthen unity and renewing friendships.

He said Angamis were “visibly ahead” when it comes to keeping its unique traditions and culture alive.  Patton, who is also the leader of state BJP legislature party, conveyed wishes for peace and prosperity.
