Gov, CM extend Biam greetings

DIMAPUR, AUG 6 (NPN): Nagaland governor Nand Kishore Yadav and chief minister Neiphiu Rio have extended warm greetings to the members of the Khiamniungan community on the occasion of Biam.
In his message, governor Yadav described Biam as a cherished festival that celebrates gratitude, unity and the blessings of a bountiful harvest.
He said Biam also reflects the rich cultural heritage, enduring traditions and strong community spirit of the Khiamniungan people.
The governor wished everyone a joyful and memorable celebration and prayed that the spirit of Biam continue to enrich shared journey towards a stronger and more united Nagaland.
In a social media post, chief minister Rio prayed that Biam, the harvest festival, bring joy, peace, prosperity, and abundant blessings to every home. “Wishing you all a Happy Biam,” Rio said.
Meanwhile, Nagaland’s lone Rajya Sabha MP, S Phangnon Konyak, also greeted the Khiamniungan community on the occasion of Biam Festival and prayed that “this festival brings bountiful harvest, renewed hope and uphold bonds of unity & peace. God bless.”
