Gov, CM extend Metümnyo festival greetings

Nagaland governor and chief minister extended greetings to members of the Yimkhiung community on the occasion of Metümnyo festival. In his message, Ravi said forgiving that one another and strengthening the familial and social bonds were the essence of this festival.  He said that Yimchungers, during the celebrations, also seek blessings for a bountiful crop– millet in particular. 

State chief minister Neiphiu Rio prayed that the harvest festival bring “blessings of good health, peace, unity and blessed beginnings in our lives.”
