Gov congratulates newly-elected ULB members

Nagaland Governor La Ganesan has conveyed his heartiest congratulations to all the newly-elected members of the urban local bodies (ULBs), terming their election as a testament to the trust placed in them by the citizens of Nagaland.


The governor in a statement also extended special congratulations to the women members, recognising the significant achievement and the role they would play in shaping the future of the urban areas. He said he was confident that their efforts would contribute to the development and prosperity of Nagaland, fostering inclusive and sustainable growth for all communities.


Further, he congratulated the State Election Commission, the law enforcement agencies, and all poll-related officials for the successful conduct of a peaceful ULB election. According to him, the smooth and efficient administration of the electoral process reflected the dedication, diligence, and commitment to upholding democratic values in the state.


Urging all the newly-elected members of the ULBs to serve with integrity, dedication, and a vision for progress, Ganesan said he looked forward to witnessing the positive changes they would bring to their respective localities.
