Gov extends Janmashtami greetings

 Nagaland governor, PB Acharya, has extended greeting and good wishes to the people of Nagaland, particularly to the Hindu community, on the occasion of Janmashtami, which marks the birth of Lord Krishna.

In his message, Acharya called upon all to strive and build a world free from malice and full of brotherhood and compassion. He said “Lord Krishna’s noble message of righteous conduct and action should inspire each and every one so as to strengthen the moral foundations of the society and strive selflessly to take the country to new heights.”

Governor hoped and prayed that the occasion of Janmashtami bring amity, harmony, prosperity and happiness in “our lives.”
