Gov extends Poang Lüm greetings

Nagaland governor R.N. Ravi extended Poang Lüm greetings to the people of Nagaland specially the Chang community.

In his message, Ravi said the festival marks the traditional celebrations of self-sufficiency by the Chang community and heralds the beginning of cultivation process and seeks blessings for a bountiful harvest. Let this significant festival advocates unity and friendship, the governor said adding that the festival aims at passing down the spiritual and cultural richness of the beautiful traditions of Changs to the posterity. Ravi further urged all to follow the Covid-19 protocols during the celebration. He further wished the community happiness, good health and prosperity.
