Gov extends Tokhu Emong greetings

Nagaland governor Prog. Jagdish Mukhi has extended warm greetings to the members of the Lotha community on the occasion of Tokhu Emong— post-harvest festival of the Lothas.
In his message, Prof. Mukhi said that Tokhu Emong, which represents the rich cultural heritage of “our people”, signifies ending of all bitterness and strengthening the familial and social bonding. He said the people rejuvenate through the celebrations after a period of tremendous hard work in the field. Describing Tokhu Emong as a celebration of unity and gratitude, the governor called upon all to always uphold these rich cultural legacies.
