Nagaland governor, PB Acharya, has congratulated Aut Zumvu, SDPO Kohima, and Captain EY Jami, on being conferred the prestigious ‘Shaurya Chakra’ by the President of India in the presence of the Prime minister of India at a glittering function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on April 6, 2017. According to PRO Raj Bhavan, the governor said that the two officers have brought pride and laurels to the people of Nagaland and the nation. Acharya said the awards appropriately reflected the act of bravery, courage, dedication and promptness of the two officers. Further, the governor encouraged them to continue upholding the values and ideals of the Nagaland Police and the Indian Army and continue being an inspiration and encouragement to the younger generation to emulate the exemplary work.
