Nagaland governor La Ganesan has expressed grief over the tragic demise of Vijay Rupani, former chief minister of Gujarat, and others in the crash of Air India plane in Ahmedabad on June 12, 2025.
In a condolence message, Ganesan described late Rupani as “a respected and dedicated leader” and said his contributions to public service would be remembered with great honour. “The loss of innocent lives alongside him adds to the gravity of this tragedy and the nation mourns each of them,” governor said and extended condolences to the bereaved families. “I offer my prayers for strength and comfort to all those affected,” Ganesan stated.
