Gov pained by Billy Graham’s demise

DIMAPUR: Nagaland Governor, P. B Acharya has expressed sadness over the demise of evangelist Rev. Billy Graham on February 21 at his home in Montreat, North Carolina.
According to a press note from the PRO to Governor, Acharya said that Rev. Billy Graham dedicated his life to proclaiming the Gospel of Christ to every part of the world including Nagaland in 1972.
“Rev Graham’s legacy will be with the people of Nagaland whom he inspired to live lives of faith, purpose and meaning”, the note said.
Calling Rev. Graham one of the greatest Pastors of the last century who was a strong voice for not only the Christian faith, but for basic human decency, the Governor wished for his soul to rest in peace.
