Gov pays tribute to Vajpayee, Ganesan

DIMAPUR: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav, along with officers and staff of the Governor’s Secretariat, Lok Bhavan, Kohima, on Sunday paid solemn tributes to former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 8th death anniversary and remembered former Governor of Nagaland La. Ganesan on his 1st death anniversary.
According to PRO Lok Bhavan, the Governor and Secretariat staff recalled with deep respect and gratitude the remarkable contributions of the two distinguished leaders to public service and the nation. Their dedication, commitment to public life and enduring legacies were remembered on the occasion.
Former Prime Minister Vajpayee was remembered as one of India’s most revered statesmen and parliamentarians. His visionary leadership, eloquence and unwavering commitment to democratic values left an enduring mark on the nation. His contributions towards India’s development, national unity and global standing continue to inspire generations.
Tributes were also paid to La. Ganesan, the 21st Governor of Nagaland, whose simplicity, humility and dedicated service to the people were fondly remembered. His warmth, affection and commitment to public service left a lasting impression during his tenure.
