
Governor RN Ravi took first dose of indigenously produced Covaxin at the AIIMS, New Delhi on Tuesday following COVID-19 protocols.
According to a Raj Bhavan statement, Ravi thanked the Indian scientists for “this wonderful gift” to humanity.
“When the world is in the throes of a global pandemic for the last over one year, it is a matter of pride for every Indian that our country is the Vaccine hub of the world and has brought this life saving vaccine to the needy humanity in several countries,” Ravi said.
The governor expressed hope that people of Nagaland would take adequate advantage of the vaccine and help the country in defeating the COVID 19 for good. The governor would take second dose after 28 days.
