Govenor extends Mimkut greetings

Nagaland Governor, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has extended Mimkut greetings to the Kuki community and the people of Nagaland.
He said the “festival express exhilaration and triumphant over the harvest of Mim (Maize) which is the last harvest crop of the season.”
During the celebration, Mukhi said the Kuki community exhibits their magnificent traditions and customs, their ethnic culture are also expressed through art work that represent their roots. “This festival is also a time to remember the loss of our loved ones,” he added.
