Nagaland governor Nand Kishore Yadav and deputy chief minister Y. Patton have extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
In his message, governor Yadav conveyed wishes to all, describing Id-ul-Fitr as a blessed festival marking the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan—a period devoted to prayer, reflection and compassion.
He said the festival celebrates the spirit of generosity, unity and goodwill that binds communities together. The governor expressed hope that the occasion would inspire people to uphold values of peace, harmony and mutual respect, while bringing happiness, prosperity and good health to every home.
Patton, in his message, extended warm greetings on behalf of BJP legislators. He described Id-ul-Fitr as a time of joy, reflection and gratitude, reminding people of the values of compassion, unity and generosity that strengthen bonds within society. Patton urged all to remember those in need and share the blessings of the day. He prayed that the festival would bring peace, harmony and prosperity, and expressed hope that it would be celebrated in unity and with a spirit of brotherhood.
