Governor extends Christmas greetings

Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya and his lady wife, Kavita Acharya have extended Christmas greetings to the people of Nagaland. As we celebrate the gift of life through the birth of Jesus Christ, Acharya said Christmas is also a season of great joy; a time for remembering the past and hoping for the future, a time of joyous celebration with our family and friends and a time to heal the wounds, close divisions and remain united. 
He maintained that Christmas was celebrated to renew bonds of love, tolerance and compassion which Jesus taught the world. “Let us uphold Christian values so that the Prince of Peace can live in us and rule Nagaland,” he added.
Stating that political stability, respectful agreement resulting in permanent peace was the need of the hour, Acharya called upon all to pray to Almighty during for a developed, economically strong and a prosperous New Year 2018.
