Governor extends Id-ul-Fitr greetings

Nagaland governor La Ganesan has extended greetings to the members of the Muslim community on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
In his message, governor said Id is a festival of Joy, happiness and pleasure as it marks the end of fasting and the start of celebration.
“It is also a day of victory for an individual who succeeds in securing his spiritual rights through fasting during the holy month of Ramdan,” Ganesan said.
He prayed that the celebration strengthen social harmony, humanity, brotherhood and generosity towards neighbours and friends.
