Nagaland Governor, RN Ravi, has extended greetings to the Rengma community and to all those celebrating Ngada festival.
In his message, Ravi expressed hope that the festival of thanksgiving for a successful harvest would foster the spirit of oneness and brotherhood amongst all the communities in Nagaland. Governor also wished the community prosperity in all spheres of life and prayed to Almighty for peace, happiness and all round prosperity to the people of Nagaland.
Underscoring the rich cultural heritage of the Naga tribes, he called for their preservation, promotion and due appreciation. Ravi also encouraged the youth to be proud of their inheritance while keeping pace with the imperative of modernity and excel in all walks of life.
