Governor extends Onam greetings

Nagaland Governor, R.N. Ravi has extended Onam greetings to the people of Nagaland, especially the Malayalis living in the State.

In his message, Ravi said Onam, harvest festival, is celebrated enthusiastically by the people of Kerala, irrespective of faith or creed, with numerous activities including traditional games, music, dances and feasts. He said the rituals and festivities are vividly captured through the celebrations of Onam by the Malayali diaspora all around the world, transcending all barriers and uniting all in a common brotherhood.

As the festival will be observed in this pandemic situation, Ravi hoped that it ushers unity, safety and prosperity to all.
