Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya, has expressed grief over the sudden demise of a prominent leader Kevi Zakiesatuo, was found murdered near the boundary wall close to his office of his residence, ‘Zakiesetuo Manor’ on December 18, 2018 in Dimapur.
Strongly condemning the “heinous act”, Acharya said he was very much concerned about the reasons behind the crime. “I am sharing my concern with the law enforcement agencies to bring the culprit into book, so that justice is delivered to the bereaved family,” governor said. He also expressed hope that the machinery of state government would leave no stone unturned to ensure that justice is delivered. In a condolence message, Acharya said late Kevi Zakiesatuo’s contribution as a public leader in various positions for the welfare of the people of Dimapur and the State would be ever remembered.
Governor also said that his demise was a great loss to the people of Dimapur in particular and Nagaland in general.
Acharya conveyed heartfelt condolences to all the members of bereaved family and prayed to Almighty to grant strength and solace to bear this irreparable loss.
