Governor greets on Langsimnyi festival

Nagaland governor, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has greeted the Zeliang community and the people of the state on the occasion of Langsimnyi festival.

Prof. Mukhi said that, Langsimnyi, the premier festival of the Zeliangs, was a time for rekindling of relationships specially between family members. 
“The young boys as well as the men actively take part in traditional games and sports. I hope the fundamental essence of the festival- love, respect, peace and harmony will prevail among all sections of the people,” Mukhi said.
He also urged all to celebrate the festival by observing all Covid-19 protocols.
