Governor, HM laud police, NIA

Nagaland Governor P.B Acharya has conveyed his appreciation to the joint team of Kohima police and National Investigation Agencies (NIA) for arresting of three NDFB (S) militants from Kohima. In a press release through the deputy secretary to Governor, Saroj Kumar Sahoo, Acharya said the quick action taken by Nagaland Police and sharing information with other security agencies reflects the capability of the Nagaland Police. He congratulated the Police officers, jawans and Intelligence department and other security agencies who took part in the operation.
HM lauds police: Nagaland Home minister Y. Patton has expressed deep appreciation to the Nagaland Police in general and to all those active personnel involved in swiftly nabbing the 3 NDFB (S) activists, who were hiding in Nagaland after carrying out terror and criminal activities in the neighboring state of Assam in a joint operation with NIA from Kohima.  In a press release issued through his PS, Patton said that the Nagaland Police has once again exhibited its capabilities in containing criminal activities in the state.  While appreciating the Police personnel for their efficiency, Patton also urged them to be more vigilant, as many criminals from the neighboring states are trying to make Nagaland their safe refuge after committing heinous crimes.
