On the occasion of the 75th Republic day, governor La Ganesan hosted the Governor’s “At home” programme at Dr Imkongliba Ao Hall, Raj Bhavan Kohima on January 26.
The function was attended by Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and awardees, Head of Departments, dignitaries and invitees.
Earlier, the 75th Republic Day was celebrated at Raj Bhavan with Nagaland governor, La Ganesan unfurling the tri-colour.
A press release by PRO Raj Bhavan informed that, Ganesan received the Rashtriya Salute from the jawans in the presence Commissioner & Secretary to Governor Wezope Kenye and other officials. The governor also handed out certificates of appreciation to the jawans.
The governor along with the officers also paid a floral tribute to Dr. Imkongliba Ao.
