Governor inaugurates exhibition cum sale stalls

State Governor, PB Acharya, inaugurated exhibition-cum-sale on occasion of the 66th Republic day celebration held at the Secretariat plaza on January 26.
The Governor visited all the 13 exhibition-cum-sale stalls put up by various departments including the rural mission.
He was accompanied by the chief minister TR Zeliang, ministers, parliamentary secretaries, chief secretary and other government officials.
Agri-allied sectors, Food processing agriculture and Rural missions displayed their valuable productions and sold their items at reasonable prices.  The Governor also visited the three exhibition stalls put up by Para-military and Armed forces of Naga regiment (164) TA, Assam Rifles and Indian Air.
Pamphlets, stickers etc. were also distributed to the visitors for awareness as well as encouragements especially the students.
The Department of Agriculture was adjudged as the winner in the exhibition-cum-sale competition and the Land Resources and Sericulture departments were declared 2nd and 3rd winner respectively.
