
Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya, has extended greetings to the Kuki community on the occasion of Kut festival and hoped that the festival bring peace, unity and prosperity to the community. In a message, Acharya said that Kut festival should provide opportunities for budding generations and other villagers to display their skills and physical strength. Governor also encouraged the Kukis to safeguard and promote their rich culture and traditions through the festival. Acharya said festival should be a source for building unity and called upon all to come together and make the atmosphere conducive in towns and villages for peaceful co-existence and all round development in the State.
LoO: Leader of Opposition, T.R. Zeliang extended warm greetings to the Kuki community on the occasion of Kut festival. In his message, Zeliang called upon the Kuki community to come together in unison and build a society marked with peace, love and mutual respect while promoting the rich culture and traditions of the community. “May the festival of Kut bring peace and prosperity. Wishing the Kuki community a happy and meaningful Kut,” he stated.
