Governor Nand Kishore Yadav visits NIELIT Kohima

DIMAPUR: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav visited the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Kohima on August 20, 2026, where he reviewed infrastructure facilities and interacted with emerging technology ventures.
According to PRO Raj Bhavan, during his visit, the Governor toured the Academic Block and inspected the Cyber Forensic R&D Lab, familiarising himself with the ongoing research and activities. He also launched two startups – Kora and Zodmo Technologies, underscoring the growing spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among Nagaland’s youth.
Zodmo Technologies has developed a locally focused online marketplace enabling users to buy, sell, rent and discover goods and services within Nagaland.
The Governor’s interaction with these ventures highlighted the importance of encouraging young entrepreneurs to harness technology for inclusive growth, while fostering a supportive ecosystem for startups and digital enterprises in the State.
The Governor was also briefed on NIELIT Kohima’s initiatives in promoting digital skills, technology, innovation and capacity building. The visit provided an opportunity to understand the institute’s role in advancing digital literacy and supporting the State’s technological development.
