Governor of Nagaland visits temples in Dimapur

DIMAPUR:

The governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, visited Sitla Mata Mandir, Hanuman Mandir and Shree Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Mandir on March 19, 2026 as part of his official tour, where he offered prayers and sought blessings.
During the visit, the governor interacted with temple authorities and devotees, emphasizing the importance of preserving the state’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
He highlighted the role of places of worship in fostering unity, peace, and communal harmony among people. Devotees present at the temples expressed happiness over the Governor’s visit and appreciated his gesture of engaging with the local community.
The visit is part of the Governor’s ongoing efforts to connect with various sections of society and promote inclusivity across Nagaland. Following the temple visit, he proceeded to Kohima.
