Governor’s YFP fellows visit GHSS Bhandari

Five fellows from the Governor’s Young Fellowship (GYF) programme) visited Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Bhandari on February 27 and held a meeting with the school authority.

A press release by GHSS Bhandari, senior principal, Sunil Thakur stated that the team enquired about the enrolment of the school, result output of classes ten and twelve, mid day meal schemes and other infrastructure related set up of the school. Thakur highlighted some issues regarding the need of RO drinking water facilities and proper toilet facilities for students in the school and also shared the need to enhance other aspects of school infrastructure like a proper library and librarian, media room etc. The team also held an interaction with all the staff of the school where senior teachers highlighted the need to properly assess the ground realities of all the difficulties faced by both teachers and students by the government.
