Govt appoints chairman of DPDBs

In supersession of all earlier notifications, the governor of Nagaland has appointed 11 members of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (MLAs) as chairman of District Planning & Development Boards (DPDBs).
In a notification, ACS & development commissioner, R Binchilo Thong, stated that the notification dated July 27 and 28, 2004 would govern the role, functions and responsibilities of the chairman, DPDB and that of the DPDBs.
The newly appointed chairman of DPDBs include Tovihoto Ayemi (Dimapur); Namri Nchang (Peren); Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu (Kohima); Deo Nukhu (Phek); Merentoshi Jamir (Mokokchung); Hukavi Zhimomi (Zunheboto); Y Patton (Wokha); Eshak Konyak (Mon); BS Nganlang (Longleng); Toyang Chang (Tuensang) and C Kipili Sangtma (Kiphire).
