The State Home department has informed that all the heads of offices (HoDs) in Dimapur district will be considered to hold temporary additional charge of the head of office of respective department for the newly created district, Chümoukedima, till district offices become suitably functional.
According to a DIPR report, the department informed that this was necessitated as various departments were currently in the process of making district offices functional in Chümoukedima district and the same was likely to take more time.
The department informed that the heads of offices concerned will regularly report to the deputy commissioner (DC) of Chümoukedima whenever required for activities undertaken pertaining to the department and will provide services as part of any committee/ team etc. which may be required to be formed/constituted as per any instructions of the government for Chümoukedima district, the department further informed.
