Govt reminds citizens to follow safety norms

Nagaland government has appealed to the citizens to strictly adhere to safety guidelines, particularly social distancing.

While informing that several activities in the state were being gradually allowed, principal secretary Home Abhijit Sinha insisted that everyone should wear face masks in public places, and spitting in public spaces should be completely avoided. 

Further, all work places and establishments should make arrangements for regular sanitisation, he added.

Meanwhile, regarding assistance in the form of cash grant to persons from Nagaland stranded or in distress outside the State due to the nationwide lockdown, altogether 6,836 applicants have been provided assistance by transferring amounts to their bank accounts, Sinha stated.
