GPRN condolence

Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of ‘major’ Thekho Zholia (Naga Army No. CD-12836) of Ihoshe Battalion, Naga Army from Zelome village under Chakhesang Region on January 31.  In a condolence note, GPRN through its MIP stated that late Thekho Zholia was enrolled in the Naga national service on May 10, 1995. He served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until his demise. The GPRN said that the void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. 

For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, it said that his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices for the Naga nation will ever be cherished by all.  The office of the Adjutant General, Naga Army bestowed upon him posthumously the rank of ‘lieutenant colonel’ on January 31, 2020 in recognition of his service to the Naga nation.  GPRN conveyed its deep condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to grant the departed souls eternal peace and rest.
