GPRN/NNC (AB) impeaches acting president

Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland (GPRN/NNC) Apex Body, in an emergency meeting of the council of kilonsers and Tatar Hoho, has impeached acting president S.S. Pungkho over alleged financial mismanagement, violation of the yehzabo, and unilateral decisions made without government approval.
According to MIP of the group, In his place, the house appointed K.A. Naga as the new president. Other new appointments include Victor Naga as chief of army, Hanpu Yimkhung as defence kilonser, Khyothungo as kilonser, and Hanilo Rengma as chaplee kilonser.
The house has also terminated “suspended chief of army” Alu Yimkhung and termed the removal of Francis Kikon as “unconstitutional, claiming that no kilonser or tatar was present at the meeting in question”.
Further, the GPRN/NSCN (AB) has barred S.S. Pungkho from using its name, alleging that he falsely claims to be president of both the NNC (Parent Body) and GPRN/NSCN (AB). The group warned government agencies and the public to not engage with Pungkho, describing his actions as misleading and detrimental to national service.
It cautioned all business and government establishments to refrain from dealing with him or anyone misusing the name of the organisation, except for the convener of the finance committee in official financial matters.
