GPRN/NNC (AB) reinstates T. Hanphu

DIMAPUR

The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland, Naga National Council (Apex Body) GPRN/NNC (AB), has officially welcomed T. Hanphu back to the national fold under the leadership of president S S Pongkhu Naga.
In a press release, GPRN/NNC (AB) through its MIP has announced that Hanphu pledged his loyalty to the GPRN/NNC (AB) on July 15.
His return was endorsed by the collective leadership and has been warmly received by the organization.
The statement also clarified that any prior assignment or reinstatement granted to Hanphu by former acting general secretary Francis Kikon was deemed unofficial and unauthorized.
These actions were reportedly taken without the knowledge or approval of the president and cabinet, and were in violation of the Yehzabo (Constitution) of the GPRN/NNC (AB).
The Ministry reaffirmed that Kikon no longer holds any authority within the organization following his official termination.
