GPRN/NNC (AB) Apex Body, under the leadership of its president, held an emergency meeting on June 29 and announced key organisational changes, including the termination of acting general secretary, Francis Kikon.
According to a press release issued by MIP, the Apex Body has reinstated chief of army, Alu Yimkhiung, declaring her earlier suspension order as null and void.
The press statement stated that the suspension, issued by Francis Kikon, had been done without the knowledge or consent of the president, Tatar Hoho, or the Council of Kilonsers. Alu Yimkhiung will resume her duties with immediate effect.
The Apex Body has simultaneously removed Francis Kikon from his post, citing reasons such as misconduct, financial irregularities, and health-related issues. To ensure stability, the president will temporarily take over the responsibilities of general secretary.
New guidelines regarding taxation have also been put in place, with a directive that all tax-related matters must have direct approval from the president to ensure transparency.
GPRN/NNC (AB) has cautioned the public to avoid any transactions with Francis Kikon, as he no longer holds any official position in the organisation.
