GPRN/NNC (AB) suspends

The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland/Naga National Council (Apex Body) [GPRN/NNC (AB)] has suspended its acting Chief of Army, Alu Yimkhiung, from national service for six months. According to a press release from GPRN/NNC (AB) through its MIP, the suspension was initiated due to violation of Yezabo and financial mismanagement. The release also informed government and private business establishments that, as per the cabinet decision and Tatar Hoho held in October 2024, all taxes or donations would be issued only by the convener of the finance committee. No GPRN/NNC (AB) officials are authorized to issue letters for tax or donation without proper authorization.
