GPRN/NSCN Angami Region strongly condemns selling of tobacco, illegal drugs and alcohol within Angami jurisdiction and warned those individual/shops/stores found selling of such restricted substances shall face severe consequences with immediate effect.
In a press release, NSCN/GPRN RAO stated it has come across on daily basis in every nook and corners in pa rticularly Kohima Town, the escalating issue of substance abuse which is harmful to the society. It stated that some vested interested personal calls themselves ‘president’ of few business owners and establishments.
“This trend is hindering our GPRN/NSCN mandatory collection, bringing to your understanding that such kind of act are severely intolerable”, the release stated. Further, it cautioned that individuals’ collection of taxes outside the purview of the unions shall not be tolerated in any manner.
