GPRN/NSCN, under the leadership of president ‘Maj. (Retd.)’ R.M. Lotha and ‘ato kilonser’ N. Kitovi Zhimomi, has announced the list of National workers from Chang Region who have joined its Civil and Army Wings.
In a press release issued through its MIP, GPRN/NSCN stated that these individuals have taken a decisive step into the mainstream after parting ways with GPRN/NSCN Naga Unification, led by president ‘Gen. (Retd.) M.B. Neokpao’ and ‘ato kilonser’ Alezo Venuh.
The National workers, who officially separated on June 4, cited dissatisfaction with their previous leadership, mentioning that the Naga struggle has reached a critical juncture and that their former leadership offered no viable future.
The statement further noted that the homecomers have pledged their commitment to strengthening GPRN/NSCN under Lotha and Zhimomi, believing they can lead the Nagas toward a brighter future while working towards an early resolution of the Naga issue for the benefit of younger generations.
Meanwhile, they affirmed their loyalty to the organization and their dedication to solidifying the “Agreed Position.”
The list of home comers from the civil wing included, ‘Dy. Kilonser (RAO)’, Bongei, ‘Dy. Kilonser’, Y. Mangko Chang, and ‘Leacies’, Tongpang, C. Laba, Y. Sipong, Imti Choba, A.Y Sipong, while the list from Army wing included, ‘lieutenant col.’, Nukshi, ‘major’, Ajong, ‘captains’, Kaimang, and Ato, ‘sergeant maj.’, Pesu, and ‘lieutenant’, Chollen.
