GPRN/NSCN has expressed grief at the untimely demise of late Shevukhu Chishi, kilonser S/o Ilhoxe Chishi of Shevukhu village, Northern Sumi sub-region who passed away after prolonged illness on January 21.
In a condolence note, the GPRN/NSCN through its MIP stated that, late Shevukhu Chishi had enrolled and joined the national service in the year 1997 and served the nation for 24 years wholeheartedly till his last breath.
GPRN/NSCN also recalled his admirable and staunch character as a true national worker and in his demise the nation has lost one of the most dedicated and promising patriot. While his impressive records of service and dedication for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished and treasured in the pages of Naga history, the GPRN/NSCN also conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family members and prays that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
