The GPRN/NSCN has expressed grief over the untimely demise of “Lt. Col” Sating Lainung, son of late Mon Lainung of Ponui village, Lainung region, who passed away after prolong illness on July 14.
In a condolence message, GPRN/NSCN through its MIP stated that late Sating Lainung, who enrolled into the Naga Army in February 1994 was one of the most valiant and dedicated soldier with elegant integrity who have selflessly served and sacrificed for the cause of the Naga nation till his last breath. “His service toward the nation will be ever cherished and remembered in the history of the Naga people”, it stated.
GPRN/NSCN conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed the Almighty to grant peace and solace during this time of grief and further prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
